Aims of the Brackmills Industrial Estate Business Improvement District (BID)

Following on from extensive research and consulatation with businesses, employers and other stakeholders the consensus view is that the prinicipal goal is to provide an environment which enables businesses to operate more effectively and profitably in the estate. To acheive this we have developed a programme of investment which will be delivered through four strategic aims and their related projects.

• to create a safe and secure environment for freight transport, customers and the people who work on the estate
• to ensure that transport access to and around the estate and its businesses is easy, safe and effective.
• to enhance the image and prestige of the estate to reflect the values of the businesses who operate from the estate
• to optimise resources through group buying and sharing of support services and products such as energy, waste management and transport.
