Brackmills Industrial Estate is located 4 miles from Northampton town centre. For those energetic individuals this is around a one hour walk. Otherwise why not combine with a bus journey!

Walking around Brackmills Industrial Estate

There are a series of walking routes located in and around the perimeter of  Brackmills Industrial Estate. The estate is surrounded by Brackmills Woods Country Park with a number of panoramic views available from the hills near Hardingstone or the fishing lake.

The BID is currently in the process of producing a PDF map of the walks available showing the distance and number of calories they burn.

Walking is a great way to keep fit, at least 30 minutes of moderate activity (e.g brisk walking) on at least five days of the week reduces the risk of premature death from cardiovascular disease and some cancers and significantly reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes. It can also improve psychological well being.
