Some achievements so far:
Over 1000 hours spent on high visibility patrols.
Abandoned car recovered, Lyvedon Road.
13 Suspicious vehicles identified and dealt with.
16 crime victims visited offering reassurance and crime prevention advice.
Over 85 businesses visited, some repeatedly.
18 Brackmills meetings attended.
2 Police Surgery’s attended.
5 burglar alarms calls attended.
Many daily incidents dealt with including speeding, parking issues involving moving lorries from double yellows, pavements etc. Cars parking on drop curbs, motorcycle nusance and other minor offences.
Additional training on ANPR systems to enable investigations of suspicious vehicles.
Intelligence logs submitted.
4 Speed gun operations carried out.
Section 59 warning given.
Crime investigation work including reviewing CCTV, researching PNC and the Force intelligence system.
In partnership with Chris, we have pushed through having concrete blocks placed on Caswell Road roundabout, carried out a lighting survey recommending certain lights to be switched back on and carried out a survey on HGV parking issues.
Future projects include: 2nd lighting survey to address certain concerns, continuing to sort out HGV parking issues, advising on phase 2 of the road improvements.
