Register your bike, equip it with lights, get security advice and grab a new cycle lock - pop along with your bike to our cycle event on Tuesday, 11th June.
As part of June's UK Bike Week Brackmills BID is holding a Cycle Support Event, led by our Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Paul Hurst.
Bike Week (10 - 16 June 2024) is an annual celebration of cycling, held in partnership with Cycling UK to encourage more people to cycle more often.
Our Brackmills event - designed to support Brackmills employees who cycle or are considering cycling to work - will take place on Tuesday, 11th June 2024, from 12noon to 2pm. Pop along to Tungsten Business Park (near Costa Coffee) to chat to Paul and to:
- Register your bike with Bike Register - which is the UK’s national bike marking and registration scheme and helps to reduce cycle theft, identify stolen bikes and return recovered bikes to their rightful owners.
- Get a new bike lock and new lights
- Receive crime prevention advice
PCSO Paul is also offering to visit Brackmills businesses and provide cycle support either side of this event: between 9am and 11.45am or between 2.15pm and 5pm. Please contact Paul directly by emailing [email protected] or calling 07557778096.
