A local film crew have been looking through the lens at a range of businesses on our estate, all part of a film we are making about life here on Brackmills. One of the businesses featured is Europe’s top sports retailer Decathlon. Here, we chat to Ellie Smith, Community Manager at Brackmills’ Decathlon UK site …
“Here at Decathlon, we chose to open our very first UK distribution centre on Brackmills. This is because the estate is so central to the UK, and it’s close to the M1, which as a logistics company is key.
As a sports brand, we really appreciate having the clean and green spaces around our base. We have cycle paths and walking and running routes which are good to utilise on our breaks and lunches.
We also have two pocket parks on the estate, which are great when it comes to promoting physical and mental wellbeing - something we are passionate about at work.”
