Brackmills is giving back

Our businesses and the BID team work together to support the community through regular events, fundraisers, and environmental initiatives. From bike rides to bake sales, we’re passionate about making a positive impact.

To showcase your business’s contributions, let us know about your upcoming fundraisers or charitable events at [email protected].

Litter Picking

The BID has purchased litter picking equipment that is available to all businesses who wish to give back to the estate by helping to keep our streets clean and tidy. Please get in touch if you want to hold or support a litter pick and we will provide all the equipment you will need – and do a call out for volunteers if that proves helpful.

Ride for Hope

Brackmills BID supports an annual cycle ride, called Ride4Hope, which is in aid of The Hope Centre, a Northamptonshire charity which strives to relieve poverty and tackle the causes of homelessness. Companies from across the estate take part and support the event, raising thousands of pounds thanks to their pedal power.

We are committed to providing a smart, tidy and safe environment

Bins

To enhance the estate’s appearance, the BID has invested in 54 strategically placed litter bins, collected weekly to maintain a clean and tidy environment.

Litter Picks

The BID has litter pickers and gloves to help enable businesses on the estate to perform litter picks with volunteers from their own businesses.

Bird Boxes

The BID has planted over 10,000 spring bulbs around the estate, and work with local organisations to install bird and bat boxes on our estate.

Brackmills Hero Awards

Our Brackmills Hero Awards recognise outstanding individuals, teams, and companies who champion safety, environmental sustainability, and community engagement. From security initiatives and charitable fundraisers to health programs and volunteer efforts, we celebrate those who go above and beyond to make Brackmills a better place.

Our Brackmills Heroes will receive a £25 universal high street voucher and a big round of applause to thank them for their efforts.
